For over 25 years, John has worked with clients in a wide range of industries, redesigning, aligning, and transforming organizations to effectively execute their businesses’ strategic intent. In manufacturing, knowledge/service-based businesses, not-for--profit and government organizations, John has designed and implemented customer focused organizations that increase efficiency, speed, quality, and agility, for competitive advantage. His organizational designs have been with large, mid-size, small and start-up businesses. He was chosen to lead the organization redesign of high profile organizations such as NASA’s Space Shuttle Main Engine and the International Space Station organizations.

The Space Station International was a large complex consortium arrangement with 12 sub contractors to the prime. The project was completed on time and within budget for the first time in seven attempts. The International Space Station was produced, deployed, and assembled in space perfectly, first time, and continues to perform flawlessly. The Space Station organization was awarded NASA’s prestigious George M. Low Award for organization excellence.

John has worked on other complex consortium arranged projects in the nuclear and avionics industries. John has worked extensively in the nuclear power field with Westinghouse Electric Corporation for over 14 years. He worked designing new and redesigning existing organization structures for several nuclear power businesses units, then continued to provide organization development expertise for ongoing improvement . The Westinghouse Nuclear Fuels Division, one of John’s clients, received the first Malcolm Baldridge Quality Award in the nation.

John has demonstrated success designing large, highly complex operating systems, focusing them strategically then effectively integrate IT applications, productivity improvement principles, such as Six Sigma/Lean Principles, and social and culture components. Particular emphasis is placed on integrating the technical work processes with the social-cultural dimensions of the enterprise to create a fully integrated, focused operating system. The results are highly efficient, and effective operating systems operating in an highly energized, responsible and accountable work culture.

John is highly respected and trusted by labor unions and management alike. He has developed breakthrough methodologies based on “win/win” principles to craft union/management partnerships for mutual gains. This cooperative effort focuses on customer satisfaction, competitive advantage, job growth, and security through new business acquisition.

John has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration/Finance from West Liberty College, and a Masters of Science Degree in Organizational Development, with Honors, from the American University in Washington DC. He has successfully started two businesses and has held senior management positions at Boeing, Rockwell, and Westinghouse before founding Vantage Resources, Inc. in 1997. He is now a Senior Consultant with Larcen Consulting Group
